Malang City – Thousands of participants filled Brawijaya Rampal Field on Sunday (July 5, 2026) to take part in the Indomaret Fun Run 2026. The event, officially flagged off by the Commander of Military Resort Command (Korem) 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, became one of the largest sporting events held in Malang this year.
With approximately 6,000 participants, the event generated positive impacts not only on public health but also on the local economy and tourism sector.
The race route, which passed through several of Malang City's main streets, created a vibrant atmosphere while showcasing the city's attractions to participants who traveled from various regions.
The Korem Commander emphasized that mass sporting events such as this play an important role in fostering a healthy, productive society and strengthening the spirit of togetherness.
After all runners crossed the finish line, the event continued with live entertainment, a group exercise session, a lucky draw featuring door prizes, and a fireworks display that brought the celebration to a joyful close.
